Bill Iden

Bill Iden :
On 25 July, 2015, we created the Bill Iden Award for Astrophotography. Bill, a benefactor and member of our original club who passed on a few years ago, was known for his astrophotography skills. In his honour we held annual competitions and presented awards for a couple of years.. Then in 2017 the club decided to remove the element of competition to encourage a broader participation by members. So if you have an image you’ve taken of an astronomical object or event, why not submit it to the “Bill Iden Gallery“. Images submitted will be collected and displayed at a club meeting in the Spring.
